However, I can't complain about this cover at all - it's relatively thick and sturdy, and features a strong elastic band around the bottom so that it doesn't easily flap off or get blown away. I can't help but wonder if they've altered how it is made recently, because ours is just fine. We received this grill cover free on Amazon with the purchase of our grill (Char-Broil Patio Caddie Gas Grill), but because the reviews were so poor, I wasn't expecting much. It is great for keeping the weather off our grill and it has yet to crack or fade (although it hasn't been terribly sunny lately, so that may change).I'm glad we received this free, but if it were lost or stolen, I'd probably buy another as a replacement, so I guess that's an endorsement on my part. ~ Ana Mardoll
However it could be better. I use this grill for the winter time. I know there are hot spots, but the burner in one side burns too much, so you have to keep moving the food around, so it doen't burn the meat. I have it by the sliding door in the back of the house for easy access during the cold winters in Chicago. It does the job for this time of the year. This is my second one grill for this purpose. It is great for samll apartments or for the winter as I use it.
This cover does the trick to keep the grill covered, however, it is quite tight and somewhat cumbersome to get it on. I find myself leaving it off and not wanting to hassle with it as the elastic at the bottom makes it difficult to put it on; as you try and stretch it over the top, the top then wants to move around and you are trying to hold everything together. Nice cover, but more hassle sometimes than its worth.Condo Chef
This is a nice cover for the Char-Broil Patio Caddie Grill. It's basic black in color and easily slips over the entire grill.
